Why are you saying as if rune aquisition places are required to be visited regularly? Runes are the real "one time visit", not SFK and Ashenvale, which require multiple regular visits. So this flight path issue while annoying, is nothing compared to what horde has to deal with. and before you say they have to run through arathi to get to SFK, yeah they do but only once because there is a flight path in southshore. Alliance doesnt need to do this at all for runes. They also must run through arathi highlands or swim in naga waters (and most likely die) to get to wetlands and loch modan. they have to run through STV (and most likely die) to duskwood and even redridge. Horde must run through high level areas and alliance zones to get their runes. However, the entirety of rune acquisition is heavily Alliance biased. Side note - this would also make defending a viable strategy because you could hold off the enemy at HQ while your team rushes to get down the lieutenants which would encourage PVP.Įdit: Ignore this Comment by mindillwind on T21:00:42-06:00 Imagine you're doing AV and you don't get honour if you didn't personally cap a tower or kill the end boss, that would be crazy, right? Sure, in this fix a random person who did not participate would gain some rep, but at least the majority of participants would gain the rep they are owed and healers wouldn't have to worry about tagging. I don't understand why they don't make it so that the reputation is given out zone-wide for each lieutenant killed regardless of whether you tagged it. No the reason is layers, while no Alliance shows up for you on another layer Alliance zergs down the horde bosses by themselves Comment by Tyrani on T17:22:02-06:00 is that the reason no allys show up on crusaderstrike eu? Horde wins like every event. Maybe the Alliance should start hanging out in Darnassus then since the entire endgame is based in that area?ĭon't tell me people are dumb enough to STILL be hanging in Stormwind? Great changes but the event is now Horde favoured as they have flight points to get to the bases quicker than alliance. WoW Classic Senior Game Producer Josh Greenfield shared a roadmap on Twitter for additional changes coming to Battle for Ashenvale, which you can view below. This also affects Healers who must use an offensive actions against the Lieutenant or faction leader.Ĭharacters will receive reputation even if they are dead or no longer nearby as long as they are still in the zone when the enemy dies.Ĭharacters will receive 200 reputation for killing a Lieutenant and all members of the winning faction will receive 200 reputation when the faction leader dies. It must be an offensive action (harmful spell, harmful ability, melee attack, or ranged attack) against an enemy to receive reputation. Keepers of the Grove, Blademasters) or faction leader in the various objective areas, they will receive reputation when that enemy dies. When a character makes any hostile action against an opposing faction Lieutenant (e.g.
